buster gonads 862 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 He may just be very smart, but if he was mine i,d either leave him at home when i went out for a month before trying him again, or i,d take him with me but keep him on a lead while the other dogs are working the cover for a few weeks, he might realise what he,s missing out on, hope you get him sorted, ATB. Millet 4,497 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 Are you working the terrier with a lurcher that stand's and wait's on the outside of cover waiting for the flush..i once had a terrier that done similar to your's as im sure it thought it was a lurcher when out alone with the running dog's..when they was 2 or more terrier's bushing about it would start bushing again..but on it's own it would follow the lurcher's because it knew it had more chance of getting on a kill..
