Guest MOLLY
What have you got in, plan on putting in. Ive got my tatties in, Kestrels, maris pipers and some odds and sods left over in the cupoard. Red & white onions. Challots. And row upon row of peas. The potatoes will last me all year once dug, the onions will be either kept whole or diced and frozen. The peas will be frozen (if ive left any whilst picking that is!) Ive just planted 4 mature strawberry plants but plan on buying more. I think ill give up on carrots this year as the soil is never going to be fine enough, plus there is still loads of manure still dug in. Is there anything else i should be thinking about? Im after smaller plants i can now plant in amongst the flowers as the veg beds are practically taken up. MOLL.

Born Hunter 17,965
Thats the life molly, grow your own veg and hunt your own meat, well some of it at least. whenever i am home from uni and at the weekends i allways help out with the veg patch, allbeit a relatively small one compared to some folks. Its what i used to do with my grandpa when i was alot younger and it was great eatin the home grown stuff, now im older and i shoot and ferret i can nock up a meal of completely organic produce and it tastes soooo much better. good stuff
