robwelsh 354
Just saw it in the mag what you think of it?there's a chart the with daystate Li pellets chrono'd and there 7.9 and its shooting between 11.2-11.4 ft lbs, I thought this quite high for a light pellet or is this the norm ? And a few people say that the hw100 is quite heavy but held one today an its not as heavy as I thought ..anyway what you think of the 101 Quote Link to post
19powell90 89
I think its exactly the same as the hw100 just designed for a specific market. As for the weight, no i didn't think mine was heavy at all but when you put a lightweight cylinder up front you definitely know the difference. scott Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Do you think that the power seems quite high? As most rifles shoot the light pellet at around 10 ft lb mark Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793
power seems right for a weihrauch to me mate, as long as its sub 12 its fine. my '100 runs at 11.4ish and my old ' was cruising close too. thing is, with the hw pcp's anyhow, is that theyre so consistant that they're unlikely to go beyond 1/2 a foot pound one way or the other from whatever they start at. cracking airguns!! cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
The hw don't seem that heavy either well balanced like,I just thought the lighter the pellet the less ft lbs and more fps but I'm wrong I suppose LOL the mag design seems top notch too ,probably would of thought of getting it but people saying its too heavy etc so I crossed it off LOL stupid really Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793
to be honest, i wouldnt have the '100 any other way, yes its heavy(although compared to a pro sport its not!) but its superbly accurate, the mag systems the best out there and its built to last. having said that, i had a go on a daystate mk3 in the gunshop today, what a fantastic trigger, and the weight/balance was superb. shame it didnt have a mainspring and piston inside really... cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
My huntsman is nice in everyway but I'm sure its lacking power need to get it chronod by shop because atm I'm using my mates combro and don't think its working tidy tbh Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793
them combro's have a tendancy to give readings that are a bit squiffy rob, the reason i was in the gunshop today was cos my combro said the pro sport was putting out about 9.5 to 9.8 ft/lbs. checked it on the shops proper job and its running 10.7 to 11.2 so you might find your huntsmans fine if checked on a better chrony. cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
My mates one give my huntsman readings of mid 10s with crosman10.6,bisley superfields 8.5,as fields 8.4 an rws superdomes.8.5 LOL all give me 10.6 area ..didn't seem right that all gave same reading Quote Link to post
