Well after yesterdays grand day had a feelin we was on for a cracker after yesterdays RECCE of the land next door to rabbit island but as always you never know what to expect.

Well we had a quick go round his garden which produced a measlly one coney out of his rasied beds and I had to reach in for him aswell.

So with huge active runs managed to track the coneys to a hedgeline and they where travelling into his for a feast.

Well the guys was really intrested in the ferrets and my wife  who despite being a country lass is not a bad looking broomstick as most country lasses seem to be built like herman munster.

Still he followed us over and watched and was really enjoying the action and was drinking the fun and atosphere .

Something I think I take for granted enjoying the countryside and sport and it lovely to see fresh passion for our sport and the wife.

Still to say the buries where filled with coneys it started off very slow and as we neared the end towards the weir the buries where burst with the dog working well and only slipping one because he could not get though the stockfence.

As the day drew on the temp dropped and the promised snow looks likley which this morning seemed impossable.

We only had one dig which was so easy this field is a flood area so nice soft ellum soil.
