Rake aboot 4,936
The falcon is getting kept. I had a chat with Falcon, and also Scott at liveline in Armadale, so it is going on the FAC, was the only way it was ever getting kept tbh, I`ll do a report when I get it back . Should be aroung 22 ft/lb, so around 850 fps, should keep the trajectory the same as the sub 12 177. nice and flat out to 35/40 mtrs. nice. 1 Quote Link to post
BEARINATOR 2,924
I like the Falcon, it will be giving a good whack at them distances Rake Quote Link to post
jasper65 6
Had one of these in the late 90's Rake. lovely gun, mine was accurate as fook in .177 just under 12ft/lbs. wish I never parted with it now but all I had was one of them styrup pumps which took me all day to charge it, think mine averaged about 65 shots on a charge ... mine in the picture was a Lefty with lefthand bolt to match........ Rake aboot 4,936
Nice one Jasper,, not sure what the shot count will be. The full on FAC conversion from Falcon (who will NOT do it) would be 30 ft/lbs and quite a low shot count, so 22 should not be too bad. 35 / 40 shots maybe ? that would be ok.. I use a bottle, had a pump but flogged it. ATB Quote Link to post

ATB I picked up a 13 litre divers Bottle the other year Rake off ebay for a song, wish I had the Falcon now as it was nice and light and suited me perfect. lovely rifle mate no doubt about it .... as for the shot count per charge? you might find it will be lower than 40 at 30ft/lbs. a pal had a old Webley Axor Carbine a few years back running at 18ft/lbs in .22, it used to drop off at around 30 shots... I picked up a Air Ranger a couple of years ago Rake, don't get me wrong its a nice gun but with the scope and Bipod its weighs over 10lb now. its fine when shooting from a resting position but squirrel shooting while the squirrels are high in the tree canopy can be a bit weighty on the forearm, that Falcon would suit me perfect again now.... Rake aboot 4,936
Yeh I have an air ranger in 177 as well, cracking gun but not light !. Specially with an SR12 scope on the bugger,, but accurate ! jeez,, clincal is an understatement I dive so I have a shed full off cylinders, so getting rid of the pump was a given. Quote Link to post
