You dont need to remove the shite like with horse's. http://www.hemptechn....uk/bedding.php cheers interesting read it looks to be more absorbant than shavings... i was using easibed but found the mess stayed on the top longer even with the hens kicking it about shavings seem to work for me at the moment, but i might try that hempcore in another smaller pen and see how they get on with it thanks Ive used the lot dry sand, wheat/ barley straw, shaving, shreeded paper, hemp different class I found they get dirty wattles with easybed. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
