gurtwurz 793 Posted January 21, 2012 Report Share Posted January 21, 2012 hi lads, a pal of mine has a 12 yr old lad who's mad keen to get started properly into air rifle hunting, so he asked me what sort of gun to get for him. obviously i told him a springer, so it teaches him good shooting habits but as i was shooting a webley mk3 or 4 back at that age i figured there must be some parents on here who've got their lads a decent modern gun. i was thinking maybe a hw35(since he doesnt mind spending a bit of cash to get a properly accurate rifle) but if anybody has any suggestions, i'd be well grateful for them. the lads an average sized 12 yr old i guess. cheers, wurz Quote Link to post

robwelsh 354 Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 bought my misses son a cometa 50 for his 10th birthday..and he already seems like hes out growing it..another rifles looks to be on the cards for him too :L id say something abit more medium size, lightning could fit the bill..depends how steady he is with weights like i suppose..
