shotgunny 39
Hi all , Finally got a chance to pick up my new torch for lamping , i went with the LED lenser p7. I found this torch absolutely brilliant , a nice tight beam that will spot out to 250yards and you can shoot within 200yards. I bought the gun mounts aswell and i have to say they are sturdy and well made. The torch itself is very light and adds no noticable weight the weapon. The battery life says 60 hours and as of yet i havent had any problems with them , they only take four triple a batterys. I picked mine up for 90euro and i have to say it was an absolut bargain. I would reccommend these little torches to everybody as they are well made , sturdy , lightweight and relatively cheap compared to bigger lamps. atb Myles Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
The LED Lenser torches are brilliant (excuse the pun). I have several. Not cheap for sure, but they'll last forever if you look after them, and can take the odd knock or drop without breaking. Quote Link to post
tegater 789
I've been using one on my hmr for the last year, and think its great. I'm not quite sure about the 200m bit that Lenser claim, apart from on exceptionally dark nights, but in any case I wouldnt be shooting those ranges with the hummer at night, so its fine. It hasnt quite got the legs for a CF when after charlie, I feel, so I go back to my LF140 for that, or on moonlit nights/last hour before sunrise, etc I bought mine from 7dayshop at about £40 last year. Ryan McKenna 0
Just recently got a P7 from 'that auction site'. for 29.99 inc p+p. They're a great little torch, would be great on an airgun. Not sure if I could see far enough with it for rimfire use though. 50m would do me. Quote Link to post
shootlodge 146
They are superb, but there are better lamp out there for less & as well made, try surefire / ultra fire 1000 lumen. Are the days of the light force & cluson are numbered ? Do your homework & seeing the item in use , is best 1st, there are so many torches available now. Its all in the beam !
