paulus 26
it works so ther is defo no need for a flip up filter you will be waisting ya muny mate be hard to make it flip up due to the way it attaches and the shape of the edges you would have to extend the front like the old clulite

slip hound 32
hi lads yea the magnet is a good idea but you still need a free hand to take it down.....was thinking is their some sort of twelve volt release switch that could be operated by a mounted button that could be attached to the handle of the lamp.....hinge the bottom of the filter and lamp and leave gravity drop in i have a spare lennse to play with here and experament with.......gonna check the web for suitable release switch

rapidjenky 97
just put abit of plastic sticking down off the bottom of the filter with a loop of string on one of your fingers. it only needs a tiny pull to drop off the magnet. one problem ive had with mine is the wind flipping it back up! rapidjenky 97
mine is the stuff they cover disco lights with mate, its thin and flexible so i attached it to a ring of perspex to make it stay flat.
