KDR 14
I have a little field on a terrific flight line that give me some great shots...i usually go there for the last hour and always get a chance at a few. Anyway i have a few decoys that i stash in the hedge bottom and every now and again they might just slow the odd one down to give me a easier shot... i only place them 10 meters or so from the tree i sit under....last night, as i stood tucked into the tree trunk a Buzzard dropped onto the nearest shell to me thinking it was a free meal, i never saw the bird approach it just appeared from nowhere. It really was a terrific moment...it didn't hang about once it realised all was not right, and i admit the movement had me shouldering my gun, but fortunately i did not fire...anybody else had moment such as this..? kenny14 656
Had Sparrowhawks drop onto the decoys a few times, and once had a goshawk lift one of the dead Pigeons I was using as decoys, carried it about fifty yards then dropped it.
