magpie nest

Recommended Posts

a couple of months we had to take down this tree and in the top was this magpie nest that i thought might be of interest to some on here!! the top was felled from about 40 ft and hardly one branch moved when it hit the ground :icon_eek: its completely solid!! to get inside we HAD to use a chainsaw!!!! in a way its a shame to destroy something that took so long to build but the tree was dangerous so had to go!!

this guys 6ft so you can imagine the size of it
