vduben 55 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 my best working hob's knob (hehehe excuse the pun) keeps getting trapped and staying out, i know you can put it back in and i have done this several times but the same thing keeps happening, is there any thing i can do except go to the vets? im pretty hard up atm and want to explore all the options first regards ben Quote Link to post

joe14 98 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 Its worried me that you have messed about several times with it when you are not an experienced vet and could be doing more damage than good. I dont know what you mean by trapped, couple of my hobs sometimes have theirs out sometimes, probably when excited LOL. But realy you need to see the vet as he could be in pain when he pees the poor sod. If you cant afford the vet then hand him over to a rescue who will get them to the vet. Quote Link to post
ferret100 47 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) This is called Paraphimosis (inability to retract the penis) and unfortunately requires immediate veterinary attention, for numerous reasons (infection, underlying problems etc). Atb, let us know how he fares. Edited to say, take your hob for treatment asap, then chat to the practice manager about paying off the bill in installments.
