Just Fun 8
Which way round is most popular Bedlington Sire or Whippet Sire and why? Quote Link to post
scottyboyish 14
Blood on top mate. That's why collie studs are used over Greyhound bitches. The pup's are more likely to have the traits of the sire. Quote Link to post
oddser 79
the largest of the two should always be the bitch you wouldnt put greyhound over collie but you put collie over greyhound as they give birth easy Quote Link to post

*ferrifleboy 19
Interesting post.. Interested to see more replies, mine was whippet sire and greyhound dam for obvious size reasons and turned out like a whippet, to make it more obvious which way would a bull x be sired? With whip/bedlington I think the sire would be the bedlington as the whippet is the larger of the 2.. Edited November 26, 2011 by *ferrifleboy Quote Link to post
lawrence 657
personally i don't really see what the debate is here, i don't get this you inherit more from the dam or the sire lark, you get 50% from each, obviously every litter is different and you don't conveniently get 25% from each grandparent, that would make things too easy.
