Pete Rickard's Indian Buck Lure works like magic to bring in monster bucks, and I have used it with astonishing success. Originally formulated over 80 years ago by Pete Rickard, an old trapper and hunter, to attract American white-tail deer, I can attest that Indian Buck lure works on African bush buck with equally devastating efficiency.

The first time I used Indian Buck Lure while deer-stalking here in Africa, I poured a liberal amount on my jungle camo clothing, in the hopes that it MIGHT work on the local bush buck deer. There I was standing and straining my ears when I heard a twig-snap right behind me. I swivelled round and startled a huge buck that had crept stealthily up behind me to within five feet, irresistably drawn by the strong smell of the Buck Lure, which also completely masked my human scent. That buck bolted before I could gather my wits, but that was still one convincing demonstration of the power of Indian Buck Lure.

As if that incident was not enough to make me a believer in scent attractants, I was sitting on a tree-stump on another occasion, with my head-lamp off, while I waited for dusk to turn to night, before wandering about some farmland for deer-spotlighting, which is legal here. On this occasion I had taken the precaution of placing a circle of Buck Lure scent about 40 yards away from where I sat. Again, a twig-snap told me I had company, and when I turned on my light, I was stunned to see the a massive buck with his nose to the ground, just five feet in front of me, zeroing in on me like a blood-hound. He again bolted when my head-light blinked on, and yet again his reflexes were way faster than mine, so I didn't have time to fire a shot before he was gone.

While I have no trophies to show as proof that Pete Rickard's Indian Buck Lure does work as advertised, there is absolutely no question that this scent attractant does work on white-tail deer in America, bush buck in Africa, and probably just about any other deer species on this green planet. That stuff is just magic, and if you are a deer hunter, you will defiinitely give yourself a serious advantage by trying out Pete Rickard's Indian Buck Lure. Finally, I have no affiliation with the Peter Rickard company.

Well you hear of people useing masking scents for fox, attractents for them, allso nut oils for squirels some of these are for sale on protrapper,I my self use old rabbits or chickens up wind to attract a fox to where I have the advantage,But like swamp thang above whos used them for deer I would have never thought of doing that,I know scents and attractents are big in america, after all they set massive amounts of traps, and hunt larger areas than us,and if you think about it how many people put aniseed In pheasant feed,to pull there birds in,all I am doing is trying to find what people use, think of it, how did somebody invent scent lure for deer, the scent must work by mimicing the smell of the of a doe or hind, not only did it lure it in, but made it so focussed on the scent it never noticed the hunter, brilliant how much would that increase the kill rate of say a mink trap if you could get it right,or would swamps scent lure work on roe bucks over hear, good if you are taking clients for a medal head, for me though at the moment, its vermin I am focusing my attentions on, but that deer lure has got me thinking,Thanks swamp Thang
