A .22rf is suitable for foxes in certain circs, but if you can't get a cf because of the land, and rf is not allowed for fox, then you can legally take out a .410 loaded with 7 shot and shoot at a fox 40 yards away without breaking any law/conditions.! 1 injured fox guaranteed! Foxes in law are considered vermin, and fall under the legal definition of it. I.e. the dictionary definition of vermin. All that is required is common sense and a sense of respect towards the fox, by the firer. .......and of course I agree that a cf is better and more humane, if you can get it. Quote Link to post
