JonathanKent 16
There was recently a group test in Shooting times a couple of weeks ago: http://www.shootingu...ifle_tests.html The T-Bolt came out on top, it's a good article, bit of a shame it didn't include a couple of other rifles; the Weihrauch hw60/hw66 or the savage range. masmiffy 82
Not sure where they got the prices of the rifles from! My mate got me a CZ452 American for way under £300 Quote Link to post
JonathanKent 16
I would agree but then I have seen all the rifles in the article for much cheaper than they are quoting too. I know a gun shop close to me that is selling the T-Bolt for £400. I have also seen the quad for a lot less money too! Quote Link to post
shootist 0
I bought a Browning T-Bolt .17 HMR, 16.5" standard barrel with SAK mod on Saturday. I zeroed it in today and I'm very impressed so far. But the truth is, only time will tell once I've been out in the field for a bit. In saying that, my gun shop dealer has one too and reckons it's the best rifle he's owned and I know another gun dealer who's selling his Quad to get his hands on one. One thing I will say, they're struggling to get them into the country quick enough. Apart from dealers who already have them on their shelves, Browning are saying January for new orders and the next batch coming in after that is May and they're all heavy barrelled apparently - I've been told that by 3 separate gunsmiths who phoned Browning on my behalf. If you want, I can come back after a good couple of sessions with it and give a review, but that could be a while because game season is taking priority for me now. Quote Link to post
JonathanKent 16
If you want a T-Bolt my local gun shop, Wilson and Wilson in Thanet are one of the main browning dealers: http://www.wilsonandwilsonfieldsports.co.uk/ They have lots of T-Bolts in different set ups, synthetic/wood/carbine/varmint etc they are really good people to deal with too (and no I don't work for them!) bangerstox10 3
Got a browning T bolt nice little rifle very light though. My Wildcat predator 12 is heavier than the T bolt. Had a saks mod on it just changed it for a wildcat whisper which has made it more balanced. Got mine from Greenfields in Canterbury. Would have used Wilson & Wilson but they couldn't get any when i got mine. Have a look around at shops that don't normally specialise in rifles becase they can have them sitting about and sometimes for less money. Love shooting it but does make a nice little mess of Bugs Bunny :D Only advise if night shooting don't get a light that out ranges your rifle Quote Link to post

Gloop 5
I got a T-bolt. syntethic stock. Nice and light. Certainly lighter than the CZ. Trigger is a bit heavy but other than that you get used to it. Get the short barrel as they are now bringing them into the country. CZ has been around for yonks and plenty of mods for them. T-Bolt is lighter and doesn't have plenty of mods. But reloads faster than you can say "---! Really depends on what you like and how much your local shop will sell it for. I have shot both. They are excellent rifles. But I chose the T-Bolt as my favourite. Quote Link to post
bangerstox10 3
You can adjust the trigger on the T bolt mine was heavy adjusted it my groupings got nice and tight i went from just over an 30mm grouping to a 10mm group at 100 yards. Quote Link to post
