shaun1986 11
hi ive got a 16wk old collie x greyhound pup, and im a bit unsure about how much walking he needs. ive always been told that playing is enough for exersize for them, he plays all day with my terrier. i give him a good walk in a morning for half hour and a walk round block on a night but i dont want to damage his joints and muscles by to much walking. any advise would be great thanks Quote Link to post

collie/grey 238
Don't set up a routine or time a walk, just go out and explore on a daily basis. The pup needs to get used to the big wide world and exersize helps healthy development, mentally and physically. The pup will let you know if it's tired. 1 Quote Link to post
