ianh 83 Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 mines 2 and he still shakes like a little girl when its going on, just be with them and try and keep them calm but dont react to their stress, it will just confirm that something is wrong and worry them more, stay with them and act normal and reassuring. Case in point my previous dog a Drakeshead Lab that had all working parentage would cower under the dining table and shiver, whereas my Sussex Spaniel with a mix of working and show blood lines will bark to be let out to the back gate where he sits there and watches the whole event. ossetthunters 16 Posted November 9, 2011 Report Share Posted November 9, 2011 I had just accuired a pup last week he is now 11 wks and i was expecting him to be hiding last weekend with it be bonfire nite. But when they started he didn't flinch once he just sat in the back yard and watched nxt doors firework display i was well chuffed. Couldn't be more happier with him to date he's been great cant wait till this time next year to get him out n about!! Quote Link to post
