Getting my first lurcher soon

welcome lad all the best with your lurcher pup,

 

cheers mate ain got one yet have just about talked the missus into letting me have one, i have been going out a lot the last month with his collie x, shes just coming into season so il be having one of her pups when there ready

if your getting a pup get your self purdys progress a dvd will help you out pm mr pitt on here he will sort you out with a copy atb troter

 

Hi mate, yea i have heard of this dvd and tryed to buy it off the hunting with hounds website, 2weeks have gone no dvd and no replys to my email so i dunno whats going on, i have pm someone who said on another thread they would copy so hopefully get that soon and watch that, have always wanted a lurcher cant wait to get one now

it all depends on what you are going to be useing the dog for buddy first lurcher i would go for beddy whippet gh or something along those lines as they are easely fast enuff and quite easy to trane

 

hi mate, going to be mainly used for rabbits on the lamp but also some things at day, the mother is a collie x gh but not sure what else is in her and the stud hes hoping to use is very similar, ive been told to go for collie cross as there a good all round first lurcher to have

not saying any thing bad a bout collie's budd just never sin an all rounder one myself just rabbit n hare dogs
