Ideation 8,217
Went out for the usual dog walk before it got dark today, and decided to go into the woods behind the house for a rake about. Took a half dozen nets and as i have been giving the jills pretty much all the work recently, decided to take Bear, the sire to the litter of kits i bred this year. It was warm as usual and the dog was pretty knackered from yesterday, but had a good scout about none the less, chased a few tree rats, put up a few pheasants and put a couple of rabbits to ground. The first was under a bloody holy tree, and the second in a nice small four hole set, again under a tree, but hazel this time. Both rabbits were evicted super fast by the big lad, he's like a terrier, and must really scare the shit out of the bunnys, as they bolted like little rockets in rapid time, with the Bear on their tails. He's a nice hob and soft as a brush, but it's like carrying a bloody house brick in your box. Atb. 1 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
pai mei??? Aye mate, this weather is a f****r, it's been hard finding or pushing them to ground and the cover is still brutal! I got a few kits here to start as well, but i'll probably do it around christmas time. I've been working the jills a fair bit, and now will be running the two hobs to get them fitter and slim them down after the summer of gorging on rabbits and lounging around the court. I do like working a hob, it puts the fear of god into the rabbits. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Glad to see I'm not the only one who looks like he got his freezer from the set of SAW3 I have a jill the same colour as your hob, and she won't take no for an answer if something is stubborn Quote Link to post

Or just paint it red I do like a sandy ferret, i put him over my best albino jill and he threw 1 sandy jill, 1 albino jill, 1 albino hob and a pair of sandy hobs that look just like him are are absolutly identical to each other, i can't tell them apart, so they have become the terrible twins! Jamie - good name that and a cracking refferance! Quote Link to post
