valerio 32 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 Jigsaw we just got some made up with stainless pipe,a T on one end,split other end 6-8 inches and use and old broken spring(sharpened)very easily doneBryan I think is better to use a full bar,not a pipe, the pipe is lighter but weaker.If you want to make an impression in hard and rocky ground you need some weight. J Darcy 5,871 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Share Posted March 24, 2007 The same type of tool Fredrick but not as wide,but yours might be an improvement on his version.His 1 is half the width of your graft head,its made as I said from a lorry spring leaf,very light and cuts through the soil very quickly I'm told. My one cuts through it very quick aswell. All we use is that & a round mouth shovel. It's a very handy tool. If your looking for one, you can get them off a shop in Dublin, thats where I got mine.
