wirral countryman 2,110 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 MissrianL,if you want the whole pelts they will not be of any use yet,their fur can be used for felt but if you try to cure the whole pelt with the skin on then any parts that are in moult (winter fur coming) will fall out leaving bald spots,if you look at the skin from the inside after skinning anything thats blue looking will fall out during the tanning process,hard midwinter pelts are the best for curing if you are going to use them,hope this helps,atb,WM 2 Quote Link to post

As i imagine it will prob take me a few goes to get it right but no harm in tryin if i f..k up i got another one to start again lol Quote Link to post
