wood storing

Recommended Posts

Use fence panels, need 4 and a tarp, 4 fenceposts too. Metpost the fenceposts in, put 1 panel on the top with a couple of 2 inch thick bits at the front to encourage water to run down it. Nail the three other fence panels to the left, right and back. But small baton across and put the tarp on it with another baton. Make it so you can secure tarpaulin either side and at the bottom, then you have a log shed!

SS I spent weeks cuting timber when I had no work,^ or 7 van loads went home with me,I bought an 8 lb spliting axe which snaps a lot of the biger ones.Bought a stihl ms 280 chainsaw.Im promised another few trees but need to sort storage as I have loads of the stuff.

Would it be worth doing as a sideline for you if you could get the storage and had the time spare?

Here's a link that might pass a few hours for you ;)

I've learned loads of there, but then of course I needed to learn and fast this time last year, either that or freeze!
