Rapid Lads on the Hunt

Enjoyed a Nice Day out Yesterday Morning,

had a invite to shoot with Pete " Ninja Basslayer " From the Rapid Forum, Who's also on this forum under 'Bunnytickler"

Some Lad's talk the talk but Pete is a Proper Hunter, With 35 yrs odd as a Game keeper and Hunter He's forgotten more than most of us know.

Met up with Pete at his "Cave" in Hyde and drove to one of his Permissions, To say i was impressed with one of his many Permissions

would be an under statement, My small permission is on 19 acres !!!!!, Petes is half of Cheshire ohmy.png with some of the Best shooting land i've ever seen

Hills, Open fields, Farm yards, Dense Woodland, you name it His permission has it, Pete was a Brilliant Guide and shooting Buddy, With Eye sight of a Hawk,

Never done shooting from a Hide before as i tend to Mooch about on my Small permission, Pete soon had a hide up and was calling the Maggies,

Crow's,Jackdaws & Jays in. We managed to get 3 maggies.

Had a Mooch about on this permission which we only Managed about Quarter of, And Bagged 12 Rabbits biggrin.png, Not bad for a Mornings shoot.

Would like to thank the ph34r.png" Ninja" ph34r.png on being a Gracious host and shooting Buddy, What a Top Bloke Pete is smile.png

Cheers Lads for the replys,

Only used the cleaning kit on the Shottie so far Chaz ,

But will use it on the Rapid when Accuracy is Dipping as thats the only time i clean the barrel, only wipe down Rifle with dry cloth.
