simonrocco 175 Posted September 17, 2011 Report Share Posted September 17, 2011 just out of intrest how may people make there own traps? i make all my own fox traps and have made all mine apart from the first one which i bought off a lad i know who makes them i payed £100 for it and ever since then iv made my own iv also make a few mink traps and rat traps. you cant beat it when you catch somthing i a trap that you've made yourself. heres one of the fox traps that im making at the min lets see the traps you've made atb. Is the mesh expensive and where have you found the best place to buy? I've only made small animal traps, like rabbit box and drop traps, see saw traps, and larsens/letterbox traps. Quote Link to post

I've only made small animal traps, like rabbit box and drop traps, see saw traps, and larsens/letterbox traps. it takes me about 2 and ahalf hours to make one yes the mesh is expensive if bought new its about £70 for an 8ft x 4ft sheet but im lucky as iv got a mate that gets me enough off cuts to make a trap from where he works all he asks in return is i make him one as and when he needs one. atb Quote Link to post
