fcuktheban 140
You've had ferrets for five years and this is the first time you've smelt them spray? You're a lucky guy If the albino is attacking the poley then it's better to not put them together. Usually ferrets are kept together for company but obviously the albino can do without the company. Ferrets can do a great deal of damage to each other in a very short period of time and it is not easy to break them up. Once she's attacked the other one I wouldn't trust her to not kill it later when you aren't around, better safe than sorry. Quote Link to post
The one 8,555
I doubt there going to fight to the death but putting a strange jill in to a hutch with a resident jill your going to have a scrap to show who's domant Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Sure she wasn't just showing her who the daddy (well, mummy) was? Or trying to treat her like a kit? Also ftb - had ferrets a long time and never had one spray. Quote Link to post

ferret100 47
As long as there isn't any real harm done, they they will sort the pecking order out and settle down, might take a while, but it should settle down. Quote Link to post
bryson 562
cheers for the advice guys i will put them back together for a bit today and stand a watch them should i let her grip her kneck so they can sort this out Quote Link to post
ferret100 47
As long as they aren't injuring each other, then biting the scruff is just how they sort out who's boss, it just looks and sounds (and can smell!) bad. But if blood is drawn your going to have to stick your hands in and separate them. Quote Link to post
