provarmint 25
Tried 87g v max in my 6br today, using Vit 140, with no real development it shot in the low .3's, 32.5grs bullet touching the lands, 3070 fps, with some tuning I think it's a winner, which is nice as I can use one powder for everything and it's deer legal @ 1820 ft/lbs. That's a valid point Snap, the v max can be more variable than most I've found. Interestingly the zero @ 100 yrds is exactly the same for 105g scenars and 87g v max Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
yep i can be a very fussy round and batches tend to vary greatly... from brillant to just ok, if you stick them on the concentricity gauge...... you can be lucky and find a few different rounds have the same POI... 70g blitzking and 95g sst where always the same in my my own gun.
