oakey 57 Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 Never done a lot of lamping mostly a quick shine about with the air gun bag a few and gone now ive got the new lurcher i would like to do a bit more with her . So ive dug out my kit but the light i have is not very good it seems to take a lot of power so the battery dosnt last very long which didnt really matter before but now im after a better lamp ive been on ebay having a look why is it the prices vary so much some of the lamps are advertised as low battery drain are a lot cheaper than others what should i be looking for ?(I dont want a big light i cant get in my coat ). I ordered one of those cree 1000 lumen torches off ebay a couple of weeks ago, do a search on here....a few people say they're pretty good, or at least good enough for lamping small fields and they're torches so they fit in coat pocket no problem. They come from China though so take a while to arrive, it cost £18 including delivery. I'll let you know if it's any good when it arrives. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
