jill jabs

Recommended Posts

Apparently the rules are changing? So vets cannot keep opened vials of the stuff, so would need to charge for the whole vial, therefore making it stupidly expensive?

Yeah, broached vials now need to have immediate disposal after use, according to Intervet (make jill jab in UK), they said it's due to EU legislation, but that has turned out to be nonsense. The only one who can give light on the reason why the shelf-life of an opened vial has been changed is the market licensing holder of the product, and it seems they aren't obliged to give an answer....! Many vet practices seem to be carrying on as normal and haven't changed their prices for the jill jab, Intervet haven't informed them of the change for some reason. The whole situation is very strange....
