not eating meat!?

My 2 male ferrets seem to be leaving alot of meat i put in for them, ive pulled whole pigeons out of there hutch and barely eatin rabbits... untouched chicken etc.

 

yet there eating dry food totally fine and drinking, energetic enough and dont seem distressed.

 

any reason why they suddenly done this?

Sometimes I think they get lazy and its easy enough for them to eat dry than chew meat off the bone.

Take the dry out when your giving em meat.

Maybe try keeping them off meat for a few days & just feed dry. If you then give a wee bit of meat after that and see what they do, they might be a bit keener if they realise the meat isn't on tap.

Also when its warmer they dont seem to eat as much mostly sleep

as mentioned they tend not to eat a great deal when its warmer , the last few days have been basically hot here , you could try removing the dry & feed them some meat at dusk when there a bit hungrier if you take the dry out
