AlbertJ 569 Posted August 16, 2011 Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 The Redmills Five Nations International Lurcher Championships will take place in the main arena at 5.10 on Sunday 28th August. All qualifiers must report to Game Fair HQ before 12.00 noon to complete their registration, pick up their ring numbers etc. The Final qualifier will be selected as the ROI Champion in the show at Birr. Judges for the ROI Championships in Whippets, Terriers and Lurchers are well known and regarded Welsh judges. I would ask all competitors, win or lose, to accept the results of the judges in a sporting fashion. The Five Nations Championships will be judged by a three judge system. Strong field of dogs from all over Ireland also confirmed so should be around at least a dozen for the three Irish judges to go over. A good start for this year with many other shows already applying for qualifiers for this Championship and the Master Mc Grath for next year. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Forgot to formally thank Redmills for their terrific sponsorship of the lead events.All FN qualifiers will receive a bag of their quality food ; as will all winners of the races; and the terrier, whippet, lurcher and puppy champion. Can all these winners report to me at HQ in order to collect their cheques and to have their photographs taken on the Redmills stand. I look forward to seeing you all at Birr for what should be one of the best ever Irish terrier, lurcher and whippet events ever. Our events will be stewarded by the Roscrea Club wearing Hi Vis vests.
