was just woundering when do catfish start to go dorment (off the feed) what months do people stop fishing for them is it to late or is there still a chance on getting one thanks joe

seen some fella in the paper with a 60 lb catfish caught in england some where only caught a few days ago so i reakon youll still catch 1

that cat fish was caught on great linford lakes fishery milton keynes he was fishing a roach live bait for four days before he had a take but well worth the four days fishing i say

to be honest mate any time of the year you can catch cats in the winter they tend to slow down a bit but personally i wouldnt do live bait stick with dead bait heres one of many ive had

September can be the best month of all mate, I reckon they have a big feed up before they go dormant through the winter. Many believe as long as the water temp is above 10 degrees, they will feed. They can be caught all year round but its very hit and miss and this tends to be more on overstocked waters. ATB.

I've had cats all year and to be honest the best fishin to be had where they are at the biggest has been winter mind you this was in Spain still cold at night though we had the to over 180 lb with ton ups on a regular basis the best bait we have found these days out there has to be pellet they have seemed to prefer an easy meal these days
