Casso 1,261
do you learn your pup in the field if not surrounded by other runners ? best way to bring it on ? and best x to learn on their own ? need opinions lads ladies started every pup on its own,,dogs dont learn the same way we do ,we can be shown something and learn from it,but there are so many other senses working in a dog you dont know what he picking up from any experience, one thing he will be picking up is ,the excitement from the other dog and excitement is not what i want from him, i want him chilled out and focused on me not another mutt, you dog will learn quickest from his own experiences, and learn at blinding speed when in drive,, what im saying most of all is that i want to control as much of the situation as possible, and with other bodies and mutts around its not always possible, you'll get a lot of different advise on here but thats my tuppence worth ,best of luck,, 2 Quote Link to post
