barry lurcher 27 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 vets then ask for a bottle of frontline spray cost about 18 quid only a little bottle lasts hell of a long time then put a rubber glove {surgical glove} on one hand spray glove about 3-4 times then rub over ferret except around the eyes rub against the fur so that it gets everywhere job done lasts about 6 weeks [bANNED TEXT] next application but only do when nessesary you can only get this type of frontline from the vets very cheap in the long run does ticks as well i make sure they are well ventilated after appling cause it sticks Quote Link to post
DogMagic 461 Posted August 2, 2011 Report Share Posted August 2, 2011 Get on ebay and find diatomacious earth. No active ingredients so it dont smell or polute at all. It kills all insects by desication (drying them out). The important thing when using it is to keep the ferret and cage dry so the insects dont have the chance to rehydrate. Kills fleas in minutes.
