Variation to my firearm, applying for 223

Recommended Posts

223 is a good calibre. low recoil, great choice of bullets and very accurate.

as for good makes. really you need to go see what your shop has on offer. this way you can guage what suites your needs.

i really like the older tikka rifles like the tikka m590 and m595. there superbly built and smooth actions. good trigger and simple safety which locks trigger and bolt.

there not to heavy also if you have the sporter model. there are a good number of them about secondhand.

hope this helps. like i said though go get a feel of the different rifles. and see which one feels best for you

Hi i got a Remington 700 ADL in 223 synthetic, blue'd barrel etc, with a vx3 leupold scope, for a good price! Stuck a wildcat moderator on it and haven't looked back, had it two years now and love it,bought it from a gun smith who was packing up shooting if I remember right the whole lot cost me less than £450 quid, I intended using it till I saved up for a new rifle, big scope and never bothered it's been fantastic for what i want, but as Said in a earlier post get what feels nice and fits ur needs,It's a great

Cal.
