Big bald beautiful 1,231
I shot a 20, good guns.lighter then a lot of 12s, but not so good if using heavy loads .12 bore could be found cheaper, seen them as cheap as 50 quid. 410s are ok for mooching and ferreting but not realy a game gun. The Duncan 802
12 bore. Cheap to feed, a tad heavier than a 20 but recoil is pretty tame because of it. If chambered for 3", ok for fowling, as well as the standard game quarry. Very versatile indeed. I had a go with a Baikal at the weekend, o/u 12 bore and was surprised at just how good it was! It didn't look as agricultural as I expected and cost the owner only £120. My regular gun is a Beretta and my spare is a Bettinsoli, but I found the Baikal to be more than proficient. Cheers Duncan. verminator 66 2
I would go with a 12g 410 I find you have to be close to the vermin to get a good kill Quote Link to post
