Easy peasy before tightening the scopes up on mounts slide the scope back or forward all depends on the where the position of the scopes are if they are forward then loosen the mounts which holds the scopes and slide it the opposite direction then tighten them back up job done!

I had the same trouble with me Hawke nite eye. No matter where I positioned it or swapped the single piece mount around it was too low on max elevation. I made a thin shim out of some aluminum and placed it under the scope on the rear of the mount. This raises the back of the scope up and the cross hair down. Scope is bang on now
