its a french partridge they are all the same family just regional diffrences in the type ! thats what is so daftabout the law in this country feeding and managment all the same

cheers runsanite for the id i am wondering if it would be happier in the wild only it didnt make any attempt to fly just run im thinking it might be used to being fed i know a place quite near me where their are other partridges the species i dont know i could let it take its chances are their any laws releasing this type cheers

chukka's were banned.They said they wern't a pure breed just a hybred made up for shooting. The best way of telling they have a yellow shade to em as a chick and the barring on the wing in single.
