Is it just me ,i know im a old fossil i get told it enough But some of the questions on here recently . In my day you looked after your old mans ferrets and the gear and everything had to be ready for the days ferreting and in good nick and if no in the car ready to be loaded .Your apprenticeship lasted years you had to clean out and feed the ferts all year round you sometimes got asked about breeding a hob to a jill and that was all the input you got . i got my first ferret when i was ** and you already knew enough about them forty years on whats changed ?. Everybody seems to be getting a ferret then ask about looking after them housing ,breeding ?.

dont take this the wrong way i ve not got the years to argue but isn't this what this forum site is for, for people to past on there knowlage to one another i think this site is fantastic learnt so much in a short space of time.
