ryno 11
when i was about 14 my old man had a 24"TTS collie whip grey he was 12 so my old man put him across a young lurcher bitch to gain a pup for himself, when the pup came along chaz was retired to me as my dog but i did'nt retire him far from it,chaz was a well known dog and althougth he had lost his speed he had gained a very clever brain.everywhere i went so did chaz, i can remember one occassion when i was ferreting on the cider institute and land owner came across shouting and balling, chaz stood between me and this bloke growling and snapping until i got my ferrets and nets and jumped the fence to safety.chaz was a realy good allrounder and i would give anything for another chaz,i had him pts at 16 years of age he caught his last rabbit 2 months before he died it was riddled with mixxy and chaz had not caught a rabbit for a year or more as he retrieved it i could see how proud he was ,r.i.p. chazzer a once in a lifetime dog 3 Quote Link to post

Here is mine...I doubt I'll ever have another like her, almost ten years old. Done a bit of everything, and never ever let me down. She's showing no signs of slowing down, and is as game as a pebble for her age. Riddled with arthritis and as grumpy as fook with the others though Edited July 10, 2011 by Fat-Ferret Quote Link to post
