jack68 629
Right pick of the litter who says witch pup is the pick of the litter, and what in your eyes makes the pick of the litter. some say they like the bigest pup, strongest pup, first to come to you when you go and look at them ETC. For me i like the pups to be no younger then six weeks when i go to look at a litter, then i will just watch them for as long as it takes me to decide witch one i want. i take what the lad says about them being this and that when he feeds them, and i will not be rushed in picking my pup. I have in the past gone to look at a litter of pups and come away with out one as they did not take my eye, they get up set but a fool and his cash are soon parted. So what do you lads/lasses look for when looking at a litter off pups..atb jack Quote Link to post

Pick of the litter may end up in the wrong home and end up not as good as could have been. Sorry thats absolutely no help... Quote Link to post

Calli 93
no mate what i am saying is in your eyes when picking a pup, what makes that pup the one you pick there for in your mind you got the pick of the litte.. bugger - have to confess colour played its part as did character. On a semi serious note - look at the parents not the pups? Which traits do you want to carry over and which pup shows that attribute? Edited June 16, 2011 by Calli Quote Link to post
