weekye 0
separate them strait away or you may end up with a dead ferret, they'll be in season for breeding by now i know mine is, keep them apart for the summer. Edited February 21, 2007 by weekye Quote Link to post
highlander 0
I agree with weekye seperate them asap. Hobs can be fine together over the winter when jill's aint in season but they will kill each other when the jill's come in. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
If there not getting on seperate them now the least you will have to deal with is a very nasty scabby neck, luckly my two have not started to scrap & are in the same hutch, how much longer i can do this is not known, but there happy at the monent, maybe as i dont have any jills they will be ok for the whole year Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
Well only time will tell if they start to get aggressive with each other then i will seperate them Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
I had two brother hobs in together for the dozen years they were alive and they were a bit rough with each other in the early spring but generally not a problem, but I have had hobs who would quickly worry and maul annother lesser male to death in a short space of time. Really they should be seperated from others or if they are in a ferret court as I have seen some of you use, make a few boxes with pop holes too small for him to get in so the jills can sneak away for a rest . . .
