hobs together

ive taken my 2 hobs out from the jills pen and put them in together, but the older one is givin the other one some stick if you now what i meen, will it stop ive never had hobs together befor ???the young one will be going to vets soon for the snip as the old one to old ??

If there not getting on seperate them now the least you will have to deal with is a very nasty scabby neck, luckly my two have not started to scrap & are in the same hutch, how much longer i can do this is not known, but there happy at the monent, maybe as i dont have any jills they will be ok for the whole year :)

it don't matter if you've got jills or not they will fight & they will kill each other as for keeping them

together all year round is asking for trouble. just my opinion. :victory:

I had two brother hobs in together for the dozen years they were alive and they were a bit rough with each other in the early spring but generally not a problem, but I have had hobs who would quickly worry and maul annother lesser male to death in a short space of time. Really they should be seperated from others or if they are in a ferret court as I have seen some of you use, make a few boxes with pop holes too small for him to get in so the jills can sneak away for a rest . . .
