Ratsmasher 36
We lost about 23 chickens to a fox about a fortnight ago and me dad snared a dog fox and all went quiet around our way although people kept loosing them in the nearest village. All in all these foxes (note foxes)accounted for around 100 birds. Anyway, out after the woodies with airrifle this mornin and wasnt expecting to see a fox but there was one about 70 yards off so I got down on my belly and crawled of to get the shottie. When I got back it was gone so I gave it a little squeak and sure enough charlie popped out of the tree line about 20 yards away. I shouldered the 12b Laurona eibar and popped a shot into the chest area. The no. 3 36g RCs didnt mess around and he was knocked right over into the nettles and I followed up with another shot to make sure. It was a big dog fox probs last years but he'd grown big on all the chickens. I was well chuffed , the brush is waiting to be sorted at the moment Quote Link to post
