bsa ultra charging

Recommended Posts

Ive had the ultra for a long time now in my cabinet due to me loosing my permission now ive got new permission and the guns come out of the cabinet .Only for me to find pumping it with my hand pump harder than i remembered so ive sold the pump to someone on here in favour of getting a divers bottle .Also in my cabinet is a box with all the instructions i had with the gun there is something about a insert that goes in the probe (the brass bit with 2 o rings )on a hand pump it must be taken out but on a bottle it must be left in there is like a grub screw that does fit but i cant see what that would do other than block the probe .I am getting the bottle from a dive shop so i dont know if its any good me asking there .Any help would be welcome .

Hi Oakey.

The Grub screw is a restrictor.

It does just what its name implies, it will restrict the air flow through the probe and into the rifle to prevent damage while filling from the cylender.

Make sure you fit it into the probe before you fill.

If your filling from empty, cock the rifle before you fill  .
