The golf range finders generally work on the basis of having a known height to measure against (usually the pin height). Unless you can persuade buggs to hold a big white pole with a flag on top, they'll not do you much good. I bought a brand new Nikko Sterling laser range finder off eBay for £70, and it's brilliant!

i bit the bullet and bought a tasco one i dont aim at bunnys but static objects fence posts ect so i know how far i am from a point and can judge better where the bunny is range wise from the post. also use it for setting up targets to zero with lot more accurate than pacing it out. 70 quid. but i am defo missing less shots. so worth it imo.
