malt this is why it is sonys fault, and why hackers now have access to your personal details, name, address, credit card details etc etc, but hey suppose its small price to pay for 2 free games and 30 days free.

i dont believe that for one second.no firewall.come on even the basic pc has one.dont know anyone who uses a pc or internet access without a firewall.more so if they are taking personal banking details.lets face it.sony are a big targhet for hackers.im actually suprised it hadnt happened sooner.for every system or online security system within major coorperations will be hacked or at the very least attempted.its just what they do for noteriety.christ a loony in london sat in a bedsit and hacked into the pentagon and deleted files.if you know what your doing it can be achieved.no chance of me ever doing it thats for sure.i cant even master a f*****g system restore.

Credit card details were highly encrypted, so are virtually useless without the encryption key. Besides, if you think for a second that your personal data was locked away securely from all and sundry until this happened, you're very much mistaken..
