ArchieHood 3,692
The Crown Prosecution Service, which last year decided that no one would be prosecuted in relation to the death, has today said it will review its decision in the light of evidence heard at the inquest. Ideation 8,217
Aye, those riot cops are b*****ds, i've been on the receiving end of their batons a few times. I was at the G8 in Edinburgh, i lived there at the time, and that was a mad week, and the police were the ones making the problems, they thought they were soldiers, dressed in black, hammering their batons on their shields, roaring and charging. I've got some decent photos on my other computer, i'll have to dig them out some time.

Tomm Parr 30
The guy who was allegedly not part of the riot?. Just walking by? I knew a chap who was at the front of that protest. He saw Ian Tomlinson get moved on by the Police SEVEN SEPERATE TIMES that day for obstruction and public nuisance, every time the police moved. On the seventh time, a policeman finally got pissed off and gave him a whack. Not at all nice but hardly surprising. Please don't get me wrong, i hate to speak ill of the dead and it must be awful for his family knowing that he died of internal bleeding after a policeman hit him; his family deserve our sympathy. But don't kid yourselves that he was just an innocent bloke who 'happened' to be there at the exact same time as hundreds of rioters and police.....
Ideation 8,217
It was the wierdest f*****g thing mate. Half the people there wre just ordinary folk who were out and about for a look see when the police cordoned off the streets, and then charged a load of horses in. I was jumping about on the top of the bus shelters on princes street taking photos, and when they cleared everyone from princes street into the gardens with the horses and riot police, i found myself the last man in the street, looking a bit obvious stood on the f*****g roof of the shelter, the police told me to get the f**k down or they would send the dogs up, so i jumped down and got jumped on.. . .. then released to a big cheer, then fecking arrested again. . ... . and released again. They wanted the camera, as i'd taken a few photos of them being naughty wee boys That night they just locked off the old town etc and it was flooded by folk partying in the streets, playing music and drinking and getting f****d in true scots style. Was a laugh. But them polis were b*****ds. Might have thrown one or two mate
