christian71 3,187 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Share Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) I need some 4" nails, and only got 6" one's, should i cut the 6" nails down to 4", or nail the 6" one in and bend the other 2" over, or just buy some 4" one's, or buy some thicker wood, i would realy like to use the 6" one's as my late grandad left them to me in his will, or any other options please. No spanner but got 3 bicks and i have noticed a few loose bicks on next door but one's front wall if i come stuck Depends on how many nails your putting in....you'd probably get away with a brick for a few nails but it would be difficult!!
