secretagentmole 1,701
Got my hands on a Chrono now (hooray), so now trying out the guns on it to see what I am making! Seems like the Daystate is punching out at 11.56 ft/lb and the Super 10 is doing 11.16! So for old guns they are not too bad! Quote Link to post
markha 99
I would do a full shot string through the chrono with the X2 from a full charge down to minimum and also double check the pellet weight you have entered in the chrono, 11.56 is far to close to legal limit, changes in ambient air temperature and air pressure could put that over the legal limit easily. Do a double check. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I did run 10 through and averaged it! Will try running it right down and seeing how it goes! Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
10 is nowhere near enough to get a decent average. What was the max variation (plus and minus)? Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
About 20fps! Quote Link to post
markha 99
Mole, you should run a string of at least 60 shots, plus the CBR stores data for lowest, highest and average results in both FPS and ftlbs. Its not the FPS you need to worry about its the ftlbs mate. Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Its not the FPS you need to worry about its the ftlbs mate. True, but fps and ft.lb are directly proportional (well, there's a square in there somewhere) Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Running a 60 shot string after a full reset tomorrow, see how the beast performs! Also get me used to reloading that magazine quickly! Edited May 2, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Daystate averages 11.33 fpe, that is after a 60 shot string from 170 Bar to 120 Bar! Not bad for an older gun! Quote Link to post
