But the problem is keeping the support of the backward Arabic world. They can't handle a leader being taken out because their whole society seems to be very submissive to anything in power, which is easy once they have submitted to a deity. But anyway, it would probably cost us more in oil and trade if we got the Arabs backs up, so I would imagine far more knowledgeable people have given this a lot more thought and have come to the decision they have for our own selfish interests. We aren't as good as we would try and convince the world to believe, but I personally believe it is OK to interfere with other countries when innocent people are dying because of a tyrant. Only if it makes a difference, or we would be in Liberia or many other places, but we all know deep down these places are so far beyond help it isn't worth it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
